They're higher than Niagara and stretch for about 5 km. I don't know what it's like now, but back then it was pretty raw. There was one low level hotel on the Argentine side and another on the Brazilian side. I remember seeing wild Toucans, Budgies, butterflies the size of dinner plates and much more.
